Categorisation System

All accommodation places in the Republic of Bulgaria have been categorized (on the 5-star system) in the following categories:
•“one-star” category – hotels, motels, bungalows, camping sites, family hotels (boarding-houses) and private lodgings;
•“two-star” category – hotels, motels, bungalows, camping sites, family hotels (boarding-houses) and private lodgings;
•“three-star” category - hotels, motels, vacationing settlements, villas, bungalows, camping sites, family hotels (boarding-houses) and private lodgings;
•“four-star” category – hotels, vacationing settlements, and villas;
•“five-star” category – hotels, vacationing settlements, and villas.
